My name is Dr. Steven Jacob, and I am the director and co-owner of Health Options, Center for Wellness. I am a Doctor of Oriental Medicine, a national and state licensed acupuncturist, an Herbalist, Jin Shin Jyutsu practitioner, licensed Polarity Therapist, a certified Craniosacral Practitioner and a Usui and Karuna Reiki Master. I have studied various other techniques including how sound and color affects the body and have trained with teachers from the Rolfing Institute, kinesiologists, osteopaths and nutritionists.

I earned my Bachelor’s degree from the University of Maryland, my Masters in Oriental Medicine from the International Institute of Chinese Medicine in Santa Fe and my Doctorate from the State of New Mexico. While in Santa Fe, I was the student body president of the school and spent my waking hours studying different healing modalities and teaching and studying numerous martial art forms. I am currently a student of Integrative Manual Therapy and a student of the Diamond Approach, a school dedicated to the understanding and manifestation of True Nature.

Over the course of my 20 year career as a healer and practitioner I’ve practiced in New York City at the Reebok Sports Club and then in private practice in Westport, Ct. I have been practicing on the Shoreline for 11 years.
